Christmas at our house still does..

Yesterday was my last day of work until after Christmas..thank you Jesus!!!!! Christmas time at the Jones' starts probably the day after Halloween.  Seriously..my dad is the BIGGEST Christmas geek EVER! We would start listening to Christmas music then and decorations are usually up right before Thanksgiving.

When all of the kids were little we would sleep in the bed together on Christmas Eve Eve every year..most of you probably know my brother, Adam, but if you don't he is the most funny/giddy/excited person ever.  When he was little he would get SO excited about Christmas.  When we would sleep together that night he would wake me and Brittany up all night saying "I hear him..he is up there on the roof right now."  One year he got a scooter for Christmas and all night long he woke us up saying I just heard them crank my scooter--I knew I was getting it. :)  He is so much fun and I know he probably wont be able to sleep because he will be so excited to help Mindy surprise Madison..

See Santa came to see our family the day before Christmas Eve because we would get up early on Christmas Eve to drive to Port St. Joe, FL to see my grandmother and all of the family in Florida.  My bestfriend, Brooke (we have been best friends since First Methodist Preschool) who lived like 7 houses up the road from me.. would get so upset because she didnt understand how Santa could stop at my house early but not hers. :) haha
Me on Christmas morning :) (and yes I probably had a mullet here..)

I have a lot of Christmas pictures of Rance as a little boy on my computer so I thought I would share them..he was such a cute little boy!!!!

MY FAVORITE!!! :)

Christmas time makes you remember the people that are no longer here with us..and what a wonderful day it must be in heaven celebrating Jesus' birth.  I cant help but think about all of the angels singing and the celebration that goes on..It's peaceful knowing that they are celebrating the REAL reason of Christmas with the birthday boy himself! :)

Merry Christmas, Gene!

Merry Christmas, Papa Jones!!

This year there are so many first times for our family..

This will be our first Christmas with a grandchild (Madison) and let me just tell you.. we are SO EXCITED!!! I will have to tell you all about this little bundle of joy in another post :)

This will be the first Christmas that all of the kids are married and not at home!!!!!

I cant wait to spend my first Christmas with Rance as my husband :) I am trying to talk him into making a pallet by the Christmas tree and sleeping there Christmas eve..we will see how that turns out.

Christmas at our house is love..
Merry Christmas!

First time for everything...

I always said I would NEVER be a blogger.. never say never I guess.  So..a little bit about my life right now.  Rance and I got married on May 21, 2011 after dating for 7 years throughout high school and college.  Below are a few picture from our big day :)

We are renting a house in town which has thrown Rance for a complete loop (He has lived in the country all of his life).  So having neighbors and not being able to walk outside in his boxers is killing him.  Hopefully we will find our perfect home of our own soon.  Until then, our little rental house will do.  We both work at FarmLinks Golf Club; Rance works as a hunting guide out on the farm and I work in Lodging and Merchandising.  I LOVE my job and the people I work with.  We are like a little family.  My mom and I recently opened a booth at an antique store (The Pickle Patch) in Sylacauga.  We LOVE it.  It is so new to us so we weren't sure how it would do but we are having so much fun going to yard sales and estate sales to find treasures.  We have been working on a lot of different projects lately and I will be sure to post some soon. So that's a little bit about me.. I'm sure I will catch you up on the rest of my life soon..
